Thank you for sharing the goals Skyblue. I dread seeing your videos as they normally show that my memories of goals as described in my reports are sketchy. For once, I seem to have got them right today!
Good win and an excellent 3 points.

Thanks Skyblue. Two great strikes from Ben. Hope he now gets a decent run in the side, not just because he scored but his all round play was good.

Ha ha, had the very same conversation with Andrew Kerslake recently about the fact I get to see the videos frame by frame whilst the commentators/reporters get a split second to see it and then have to remember what happened. I did point out that I thought you all did an excellent job considering you don't have the ability to watch a video back before having to publish a report or commentate on what happened. Gary Neville has it easy by comparison with instant replays & multi camera angles.
And yes it was a good win/3 points and glad to see Ben taking his opportunity and hopefully securing his place in the side.

Re: Borehamwood Goals
The first one was from a tighter angle than it looked from the popular side and the second was hit first time with his left foot way out of the keeper's reach. Great goals both and a word of praise for Ashley Kington.

Gallinagh did brilliantly but as I said before about their numbers 7 - ducks out of challenges.

Re: Borehamwood Goals
Their No7 came with a reputation and so Andy got stuck in very early. Not quite in the Stuart Pearce manner but very effectively none the less.

Re: Borehamwood Goals
It was interesting to read about their no.7 - how they'd been after him for 6 months before finally getting him and that he'd need to be carefully managed to get up to speed. To me that reads that he hasnt played this season, didn't want to join Boreham Wood but in the end had no better offers. No wonder he pulled out of that tackle.
That aside the more you watch the first goal the better strike it looks - the keeper clearly thought it was going wide.
And also Adelsbury should be congratulated for celebrating in the right direction - ie. where the photographer is sat. Take note, Ross
