Eastbourne
Umm. Now then. I don't like to ask, but.
We need a favour. The Mighty Borough are desperate for points, or else I might not be making the annual trip to Twerton next season. Given that Jerry and the Boys regularly raid our Home Ground by the Sea and go back west with three points, usually donated generously by our chaotic home defending...
Could you see your way to conceding a goal or two and letting us win? I mean, we'll be fine with a really open enjoyable game, maybe a 4-3. And we promise not to crock any of your best players.
See you on Saturday....

Really hope that Borough (and Welling) go on a great run after Saturday to reach safety. Despite their distances from Bath I always enjoy my visits to their grounds and it would be a shame to lose either. I can’t say the same about a few others a lot closer to Twerton.
See you on Saturday, Kevin - safe trip.

Re: Eastbourne
One bit òf quality in a scrappy game won it. Great assist from Cody and superb finish from Ewan. Otherwise we had most of the game without creating chances. Oscar lacked the confidence to be the new JT despite having the pace in his last game for us. Joey CG had so little do from a disappointing Eastbourne side apart from w crucial blocks in last 10 mins. Parselle stood out in another solid defensive display. Annoying number of drives from outside box way over bar, just hit the target ! Eastbourne overnight stay looked a waste of money, City took the points deservedly, back in the play offs.

Very similar to the WsM game, not pretty but a very good 3 points with a moment of real quality to win it. Good start to a crucial month.

Livened up after the goal but that was a hard watch. Apart from the well taken goal the highlight was the hilarious handbags towards the end.

Re: Eastbourne
missed it due to illness but heard we missed a lot of sitters in the first half. great 3 points. don't care how we get them. we dominate yeovil at home and lose. scrappy win at home or play superb and lose. delighted for ewan clark. just seen his you tube interview. he loves the club and we love him. infact this is the best team spirit since 2007 i think.

We didn't miss any sitters but we did blast the ball into row z (the netting at the Bath end) a few times. Like Luton I was shouting just get it on target.
Overall it was a gruelling watch. We have gone from a side that overplays possession to one that never puts its foot on the ball. Although Eastbourne did press very hard. Unfortunately for them their fitness didn't make up for a lack of quality.

Match not helped by a VERY inconsistent ref. How he missed Ewan being completely taken out begs belief.

Agree with BenE.
Don't think Anne Aston would have been involved!!

It's not a gruelling watch for me if we bag the three points.

Though it is a gruelling LISTEN if you are a long way away (Catalonia)!
