Last 9 games, 15 goals scored, four conceded. That's form.

Sounds like a good win, grinding it out against another side in a similar position to ourselves. And looking at the goal time I think Ash scored as the bride was walking down the aisle at the wedding I was taking photos at.

Amazing that there was only one goal in the match as both teams created good chances but were let down by poor finishing and Mellor's heroics. We are now playing good football on a regular basis, with some of those who I thought made slow starts to the season, especially Kington, repaying the management's faith in them.
Junior, how much did you pay the happy couple to choose the date of the Eastbourne trip? That place is definitely the coldest we play at! After two visits in January, surely Dennis will take pity and send us there in August next season. Still, excellent conditioning for Lansdown, should we ever move there!

How did Naby Diallo get on? First start for the club since joining, did he fit in well with the system we play?

Re: Eastbourne v City
I was impressed with him, especially in the first half. Linked well with others and showed his pace on occasions.
The game's highlight for me was the cross from Artus which led to the goal - he was under a lot of pressure and lesser players would have hoofed it out of the ground from that angle. Having said that, it was a pretty simple clearance required of the defender, but he headed it straight to the unmarked Kington.
Also, despite identical weather conditions to last season's visit, Mellor's kicking at last seems to be improving. Last time he had difficulty keeping the ball on the pitch, but yesterday his distribution was fine.
