Re: Ex Romans' Thread
He is an out and out goalscorer and doesn't contribute much else to the game so is ideal as an impact player. I don't know what good loaning him out does as he is not going to learn anything. Just gives him a bit of game time.

Ex City and Havant goalkeeper Sal Bibbo survived a recent cull and still goalkeeping coach at Arsenal. He's done well considering the lack of game time he had in his career.

Joe Romanski, who had a loan spell with us last season, is now on loan at Melksham and scored a last minute equaliser on Saturday.

I think they now have 6 ex-Romans on their books. Not sure how many are regular starters. We will find out on Thursday.romanoyd wrote:Ryan Case has left Dulwich Hamlet for....Chippenham.

Jamie Lucas was on Halesowen’s books. Think he’s been loaned out.

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
I literally bumped into Lewis Hogg coming out of Aldi in St George the other day, if that counts.

Saw Joe McClennan and Josh Egan both score crackers for Bitton to beat Warminster Town in the Vase yesterday. McLennan in particular looked a very different player to his stint with us, although perhaps he's found his level. Egan's put on a few pounds, but still caused an awful lot of trouble.

I think so - we received an ‘undisclosed fee’ from FGR.

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
I watched Darren Edwards put in a decent performance for Stoke Gifford United in the Bristol & Suburban League this afternoon. He was ostensibly playing as a centre back, but seemed to just wander about wherever he fancied. He may have lost ten yards of pace and be sporting a shirt that's a couple of sizes larger than we remember, but he was still the most influential player on the pitch in an entertaining 3-2 win away to Easton Cowboys.
And then I came home and listened to the Wealdstone game, which lowered my mood a trifle.

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
In addition to Max O’Leary, is that Ebanks-Landell playing for Shewsbury the same one who featured for us on loan from Wolves around a decade ago? I think he only played one game, a defeat away at FGR.

No, that was Andre Carvalho-Landell, I think Adie signed him having never seen him play.

I’m sure I saw his name crop up at one club fairly recently. One of many one hit ‘wonders’ over the last decade or so.

So Miles is not one of the three 'rebels' there then? only if he was, there is currently a right full back position at TP with his name on!
