Do Gloucester have a plastic pitch to ensure the game is on.

Yes, 3G at Gloucester. Seems a sensible solution to protect the integrity of the League.

And in today's shock news.........tonights fixture Taunton Town v Slough Town is postponed due to a waterlogged pitch

Sadly Taunton have (not surprisingly) hit financial problems again. I must admit to having sympathy for them as their difficulties seem to mainly relate to adverse climate events rather than planned overspending. it could be argued they should have spent more on the pitch in previous years but assume that the playing surface had not been a significant problem until this winter.
I hope they get everything sorted as we need to have a good number of local clubs in this league - assuming we are still members.

Taunton and Truro have now scheduled their remaining 15 games each in 42 days while allegedly sharing the same ground, sometimes, and also playing each other.

Truro now scheduled for 14 games in 35 days, Taunton 13 games.

Taunton v WsM tonight postponed.
The local referee passed the pitch as playable.
The actual referee said it was not.

and in another twist Plymouth Parkway are now playing their games at Yate's ground.

Tonight's game between Truro and Eastbourne has been switched to Gloucester.
