Truro game
Very confident performance where we should have been 3 or more up. Late sloppy goal for Truro. Confidence v clear to see in team. Onwards and upwards.

Took our foot of the gas and thought we could see it out but Truro had other ideas. Sloppy end to a dominant performance. Tom Smith is so much more effective playing off Cody.

An excellent return from the recent run of home games. Some tough looking away matches on the horizon but with confidence very high a top four finish is looking possible.

Re: Truro game
We have certainly made the most of this run of games. It is founded on an excellent defence. They have been terrific as a unit and this includes Russe who provides extra protection in front of the back four.
I have felt that cody and scott haven't formed any sort of partnership despite both picking up goals. As my previous post I've liked the interplay between cody and tom.
We seem to have found our strongest home team, but will it be as good away. I see no reason why it shouldn't be.

Great to see a crowd of over 1,000 for a Tuesday night game as well.

Yes, that's double what it would have been pre COVID.

Re: Truro game
Fair play to the Truro fans who made the game. Very decent turnout.
But we have a good solid core of new fans so the club is obviously getting it right.

Agreed, they've endured a rotten season following their team. And the worst may still be to come.
Am I mistaken or did we not get the invite to applaud them as is usual?

Thanks. It's a really nice gesture especially as visiting fans are contributing to our coffers.

Thank you Dave.
I usually use the highlights to check my stats. In particular the opposition yellow cards.
In is VERY VERY strange that no other team admits to their cards. They are an important part of any report.
I would appreciate this data if anyone has it for this match. Thank you.

Re: Truro game
Out of interest, Colin, why is the listing of yellow cards an important part of a match report? I suppose if several are shown to one team it may suggest poor discipline on their part or to both a rather fussy ref, but it’s not a statistic which is paramount to me.

It can show effort AND how far a team is willing to go to win.
