Hopefully Truro become the Southern League’s problem again next year.

Play one game in the morning then postpone the 2nd one due to unplayable pitch, problem solved.

On a more positive note, perhaps this brings some much needed revenue to Taunton Town FC.

I imagine this is the main reason they've taken Truro in, though given that Taunton's pitch is already probably the worst in the league it doesn't seem the greatest idea. Let's hope it a dry Easter this year.

First Truro game tomorrow called off, waterlogged pitch. Somehow predictable.

You have to question the NL sanctioning this groundshare. Did it not occur to them that Taunton would see this as an income stream for the dire circumstances they’re in and ignore the fact that their pitch is probably unsuitable for themselves let alone a second club? It would have made more sense to rent Yeovil’s ground but maybe that was explored and refused. There must be a 3G pitch in Cornwall to use just to get the season done.

From the Truro club statement: "We'd also like to thank Taunton Town, who have generously allowed us to see out our last few months in exile at their storied facility."

'Storied facility' is an odd choice of words to describe Wordsworth Drive!

Surprised it's that many.

So tomorrow's match on the beautiful playing surface at Wordsworth Drive, Taunton home to Maidstone, is off due to a waterlogged pitch. So yet another fixture to squeeze (sic) in before the end of the season.
What could possibly go wrong!

Grounds will start to harden in next month but you can imagine the Saturday Tuesday Thursday Saturday routine will mean a n increasingly bare, bumpy, surface. And we still have to go there.

Taunton have played 15 at home Truro 11 so they have 20 games to play by 20th April.

Can't see any problems there!
