Chippenham crowd
Looking at highlights of their home match against Braintree......oh, by the way Adam Mann looked as good as ever.....they seemed to have a number of fans from both sides in the ground. I think they had even opened the snack bar.
How does that work?

Re: Chippenham crowd
There was a tweet from a Sutton United fan who had been watching the stream of the Dagenham v Wealdstone game yesterday commenting on the number of people in the stand and that it was way over the 32 allowed! Like Rob, presumably I have missed something as I thought no fans meant no fans (Chippenham had tweeted beforehand that the game was behind closed doors and nobody should turn up).
On this subject, I see that Oliver Dowden was on BBC Breakfast this morning saying that it was too soon to allow fans into grounds oh but by the way he had been to the opera on Friday, and I had and emaii from the Theatre Royal to say they are re-opening on Wednesday. Apparently on 24 October 300 people can go to the theatre in the afternoon but none of us can go to Twerton Park for the Dulwich game - who knew the virus was so selective!

If you watch the passage of play starting at 5' 35" leading to Ross shooting I counted 39 watching....

I believe the maximum permitted to attend is 10 officials from each club plus anyone in a working capacity. eg groundsman, Covid officer

Dorking are one of the worst for it apparently and I’ve heard Concord are stretching it as well. Both clubs have been pretty vocal with letting fans in.
It was definitely quieter at our place on Saturday than the other two home matches.

If there were 39 at Concord that would be about 20% of their usual crowd!

On the subject of our friends from along the A4, I see they won 9-8 on penalties at Ebbsfleet, Will Puddy scoring the winning one after the other keeper had missed.
