Rogers is 36 in 2 weeks time. I assumed that he'd given up playing when he became manager of Willand

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
Yes indeed.....Well done Marley. He looked really sharp and could have scored more. I think his shot which the goalkeeper pushed out to the Cally forward to score the winner was going wide. But hey ho. I believe Marley was named MOTM.

Well done Marley and Morty
Yes - eventually caught up with the Big Match on BBC News Channel - that first goal by Marley was really well worked.
And of course 50 years before Marley, Stan Mortensen was knocking them in for City - usually from Alan Skirton crosses. Â Thought of that when I watched the programme about the 1953 Cup Final when it was Stan Matthews crossing the ball for Morty to knock in.
And nice to be back on the Forum after several years absence - thanks to Martin for his help.

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
I think they could be a surprise package this year. Despite it not being pleasing on the eye, the style of football instructed by Devonshire in non-league seems to work. I can't imagine he had pots of cash at Braintree but always comfortably kept them in the Premier, and Hampton regularly did well under his management.

Reid is not a clogger. He was trained by a great manager while he played for a much better TEAM in BATH
