Re: Ex Romans' Thread
Unfortunately I do not think Aaron can cut it at this level any more. If he does you would have to question why he was so poor for us last season.

"Keats attended the University of Bath and was on the soccer team. He helped lead the team to an English national championship."
Is this true? What does it even mean?
No mention of City

Marley Watkins seems to be firmly established at Inverness CT. Scored again today.

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
a couple of years ago I would have said yes. I detect some improvement in the national team so maybe it's improving generally

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
There were 3 ex-City players in the Wycombe v Northampton game at the weekend. Sido played for Wycombe (and got booked) and Aaron Amadi-Holloway (who had a brief loan spell with us) came on as substitute and equalised for them in the 98th minute - Kaid Mohamed was in the Northampton team.
There were also 2 ex-City players - Andy Sandell and Yan Klukowski - in the Newport team that lost at Oxford.

It appears Hoggy has had to effectively retire from semi-professional football (that's how I've read play local football, eg. Saturday/Sunday league) doesn't sound like his back is holding up. Hope the rest helps, always loved Hogg at City.

Presumably still at Merthyr. I think Richard Evans is there too, and Kyle Patten has gone there on loan recently

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
Gethin Jones is now at Cirencester Town, alongside former City players Leigh Henry and Glyn Garner. Ian Herring is also at the club having played against us regularly for Chippenham.
They beat Truro 2-0 last week with two goals from Jacob Davidge. I remember Craig had a younger brother when he played for us. Never know, could have been him.

A slightly different track from the norm, but I just saw Lewis Hogg driving a DPD delivery van around an industrial estate in Bristol. He looked lost, but gave me a big, confused smile when I gave him a wave.

I last spoke to Lewis at the Gloucester away game, he has a dodgy knee and bad back, think he has retired? I saw him driving a blue van from Twerton Park some time back which I thought he had for his plumbing job?

I think he left to join Mangotsfield so that he didn't have to do as much travelling, but not sure if he's still there.
