Re: Player news
Hereford fans think he may not be so prolific at this level. Apparently there are fitness issues.

Similar things said about the likes of Danny Kedwell etc year after year, but goalscorers are goalscorers, this boy looks like a really instinctive poacher and a superb naturally clinical finisher too, really hope it's true.

Re: Player news
Unfortunately it doesn't look like Mills is heading our way - he's suggesting (in today's Hereford paper) that he'll be returning to Edgar Street in the away dressing room next season. Apparently Brackley is the likely destination.

Re: Player news
PLAYER NEWS: We are delighted to announce the signing of striker John Mills from Hereford FC.
The 28-year old netted a remarkable 140 goals in just three seasons for the Bulls, having scored 57 for Didcot Town during the previous campaign. His goalscoring exploits helped Hereford to three successive league titles and a place in the Vanarama National League North for the 2018/19 season. However, the Oxford-based frontman turned down a new contract at Edgar Street and was immediately the target of a number of clubs. City manager Jerry Gill moved quickly to secure his signature and send out a serious signal to the Vanarama National League South of City's ambitions for the forthcoming season.
On signing, Jon said “I am delighted to sign for Bath City and am looking forward to the next challenge and a step up to the next level.
It is a club with a philosophy that I am excited to join and to continue to score goals. Having spoken with Jerry over the last few weeks, it was clear we had the same ambition and drive in wanting to win things and take the club forward”.
Jerry was “obviously overjoyed to have secured the signing of John Mills this evening. It has taken some time and patience in finalising the deal, having fought off strong competition. We have signed a player with a proven goal scoring record and attitude and desire to progress. It was one area that needed addressing and improving from last season and we are all looking forward to seeing John in a Bath City shirt”.

Potentially a bit of a risk having two albeit prolific strikers with no experience at NLS level?

Re: Player news
Is this the attacking wide player who caused us some problems in the first half of the game against Gloucester in the spring? Tiger says he is a left winger but I thought he was playing on the right that day.
I remember Jerry Gill commenting after the game on him so not surprised if he has followed it up.

Plus Kieran Hodges and Sean Rigg.
We currently have 12 players not including the internet rumours.

I forgot Sean Rigg. Knew I'd miss somebody plus the other keeper.

Keep forgetting about Sean Rigg, seems like a new player.
Early odds shows us at 14/1, 6th place, shortest/highest we have been I think.

Re: Player news
I believe you are referring to Ed Williams - Who has signed for Kidderminster on a full time contract. Adam Mann has been at Evesham for 3 and a half seasons now. Definitely has the potential to play football league, but has always struggled with fitness issues however training at this standard should soon sort that out! Better signing then Mills in my opinion.
