Somerset are waiting until Friday, when weather is forecast to be more suitable for batting.  Very Happy

Need to win the toss, score 650 in two days, then bowl Worcester out twice on a turning wicket.  Twisted Evil

Well Project Promotion gets off to a good start with a 160 runs win over Northants in 2.5 days. There's always a batting collapse just round the corner but Middlesex's classy seam bowling attack (and reliable back ups) should be far too good for this division.

Good luck to Somerset in their never ending quest for the big one - with us in Division 2 this must be your best chance. My prediction, relegation along with the Yorkies!

Somerset bowling looks strong, so ought to bowl out a lot of sides, especially in the 4th innings. study

Saw an excellent knock from Morgan almost do the job against a well drilled Sussex side. Middlesex tied them down to such an extent after a fast start that 168 seemed gettable. But Sussex did a job and Morgan departed in the final over for a brilliant 90 that also saw an Archer hat trick.

Thanks for your support! Id forgotten we were playing, but that was probably due to me being engrossed by the test match. I will watch the last rites of our appalling T20 season on TV tonight but this form of the game is as boring for me as watching swimming.
