This was a good attendance for the match. What a pity the result could not have been different.  
If you were anything like me I expect you were gutted . . . . . I really thought that this year was going to be the year we went up. Anyway, onwards and upwards . . . .

Thank you for all the people who posted an entry for this final match. The only person to get any points was Azlimey . . . . . well done and sending you wishes for a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY   )  but it does not alter the final places. So . . . .

CONGRATULATIONS to Comrade Powell for being this season's winner  

If it arrives in time (as you said to me when I was too late to vote for Supporter of the Year . . . . these things take time to engrave ! ) 
you will receive your prize at the Presentation Evening. Don't worry, to save your modest blushes,  there will be no fanfare or speeches   unless you would like there to be !  

Thank you to everyone who took part in Guess the Gate this season. Hope you all enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing you all on here next season.  Have a lovely summer.

I started the season well but just not get to grips with the massive improvement in attendances as the season progressed. I am full of admiration for the 1000BC group who have done a terrific job but praise must also go also to Jerry and the Lads for the style of football. If the game is good to watch you are much more likely to retain those newcomers.
Hopefully we can continue to grow.

Thanks Midsomer-chris for running this competition.  I shall look forward to taking part again next season - and hopefully the Gibbons/Kitson clan will take all the medals!
