Interesting. Hopefully their loyal fans of many years standing will get a ticket, but it's good to see that those who forked out for membership of the various groups were amongst the prioritised. The SunBets deal stinks but the cash they must be making from that, along with all the other financial rewards of their long run, makes the hike in ticket prices very questionable. £35 to sit in one of the worst grandstands in the conference!

All of this furore of course, from ticketing challenges to crowd disturbances, sponsorships from partners who have little interest in the long term future of the club and gambling scandals, are good examples of exactly the reasons that top level football is so not what I want to watch. If I did I would be following a premier league or championship club. Power and money corrupt all before them.

i have loved the cup run and the players and staff and volunteers deserve all the plaudits but I am done with it now and can't wait to get back to watching proper football with proper players in front of proper fans.

If I club I supported ever took money from the sun I'd rather spend my time watching rugby... and I don't even like that game.

I think many Sutton fans were disgusted at the club's decision - will be interesting to see if Lincoln are as greedy when the odious rag comes calling.
