Re: Player News
The main thing for me is that GO has decided to do something about our lack of aerial ability. Man Mountain and Marvellous Martin are big lads who are going to enable us to compete where we have been weak for far too long. Hopefully giving away a corner or wide free kick is not going to give me the eebie jeebies any more.

We do have some tall lads now, what a great addition Huth would be.
Much as I would like to see "Marvellous Martin" (comrade) , especially with his height, we will have to hope Marvellous MarVin reaches the heights with his performances.

Re: Player News
I reckon Martin could at least jump higher than big Chas.

Happy with that. He works hard for the team. I think he will get better too.

Re: Player News
I for one cannot wait to see this new look City team in league action next month. By the sounds of it GO still has a bit to spend and his interviews in the chronicle are pretty positive. Add a couple of decent loan signings and who knows!

I certainly agree with you sned, that is as far as looking forward to the new season goes.
However a word of caution and a question within it, where the hell is the money coming from?

Re: Player News
Presumably from the playing budget provided for the manager. He has a reputation for shrewdness and I guess that extends to his spending. Or maybe you're putting your hand in your pocket, Gary...

Re: Player News
I guess Fleetwood wouldn't be a cheap wage, but given Dave Pratt was thought to be on a good one it might be like for like. As for the others, they're all stepping up or, like Marshall, having to make do at this level for the moment. And almost 2000 people through the gate in the last 3 weeks will have helped, player sponsorship looks virtually complete, and the pledge fund looks buoyant. Well done to those who have worked hard for all that to happen.

Re: Player News
So does the presence of Diallo and Cory Harvey mean they've signed on for this season?
Also fair play to Frankie for having his photo taken in the massive cast, and also to Chaz for being a comedian!

Re: Player News
If it is on the website it is well hidden, because it isn't in 'news' as far as I can see.

Re: Player News
Diallo signing adds another piece to jigsaw (3/8/16)
City are pleased to annouce that Naby Diallo has signed a deal for the 2016-17 season. This will be the 25-year old midfielder second spell at Twerton Park, having spent the second half of the 2014-15 season with the club.
