Timely indeed given today's not entirely unexpected revelations about FIFA.  ITV news have just run a piece on grass roots and non league football as a footnote to their report on today's events.  Highlighted the work of volunteers at Witton Albion.   Ended with the positive message that grass roots football is alive and well.
Contrast between clubs like Witton and the FIFA moneymen nicely expressed by a volunteer who referred to FIFA as 'the men on the moon'.
