Fantastic game. Farnborough were very poor but we played some nice football. Didn't understand bringing Pratt and Hemmings on as they both played at half cock not wanting to get injured/booked so effectively ended with 9 men. We could have scored more but fair play to Farnborough they never gave up and their substitutes all had a say in the final score.

What a ridiculous game that was! Some of our goals were sublime, but Farnborough were awful. Fair play to them for battling to the end though.

Re: Farnborough tonight
Battling at the end yep, but there was a period in between when some of them really didn't look interested.
Barmy game. Goodness knows how many we could have scored with the likes of Artus and Watkins running rings around them. The guys that came in all did well, great confidence booster for McCootie, but I doubt we'll concede four and win again any time soon!
It's also the joint highest scoring game in Conference South history, equalling Bognor's 6-5 win over Welling in September 2004.

I didn't understand why hemmings and Pratt came on? Game time? If Pratt got booked it would have an area ache. Still enjoyed the game, Nick Mc, was on fire!!!

Not quite sure what an area ache is. However, had Pratt been booked tonight, the resulting two game suspension would have started on March 3rd, Basingstoke away, so not affecting the semi final (same would have gone for McCootie, and even Artus had he played).Richard111 wrote:If Pratt got booked it would have an area ache.

People have moaned for a while about how dull we've been in the past, you can't really say that about this season...
I don't think I've ever seen so many remarkable matches for different reasons.

Yes, a season to remember already (excluding the trophy run):
- 2 keepers scoring from their own box
- a 7-4 win
- a 1-7 defeat
- a team having 3 players sent off in one game
- surely the most red cards ever against us in one season
- a player sent off twice in two games
- 2 keepers scoring from their own box
- a 7-4 win
- a 1-7 defeat
