So do you live in Bath or London?
I'm assuming that you live in Bath - if so you'll be very welcome on the supporters coach(s).
If living in London it would be best to get the train from Kings Cross up to Doncaster and change for a train there to Ferriby. Oops - return from London to Ferriby on the 28th is £103.30!

Go to the home leg of the semi final at Twerton Park on Saturday...
A return on the train from London to Bath will cost you £56 though!

Ticket split at Didcot, £43. Still bleak mind

Re: North Ferriby Away
looking ahead to the final (not tempting fete, this is a "general" issue) and attendances over the years, there is a really wide variation.
Take a look at http://www.thefa.com/fa-trophy/more/the-finals
How and why did stevenage v kidderminster get 50,000+ when the median sort of range is early 20,000s and what went wrong in the esarly 2000s with such low attendances in a row? Got me thinking what is the typical number of neutral fans that attend (as a general rule) - I mean I would expect on past numbers for there to be 20,000 at this years final, but if it was us rather than North Ferriby how would that actually affect the final attendance?

Re: North Ferriby Away
The fact that we are closer to Wembley would presumably be a big factor. When the final was moved to before the end of the season, I thought it would affect the gate as supporters of other clubs were less likely to attend if there were two matches in two days. I'd imagine Gosport attracted a lot of Pompey fans last season. This year I see that it's an international weekend, with England playing on the Friday night. So Hull won't be playing and their fans may travel for a day out to Wembley to support their small neighbours. Presumably both Bristol clubs are playing though. BathRugby?

To answer my own question, Rovers are at Macclesfield on the Saturday while Bath are at London Welsh on the day of the final. So limited support from those two.

Yes that was my first thought....5,000. Getting nervous about Saturday before that though! Nervous excitement. It's great to be in this position. We have done so well to get this far.

Good to see that our tactician, Adie, snuck up there last Saturday to have a look.

If they sent anyone down on Tuesday it won't have helped them much!

Hence, I'll wager, Pat Keary coming on upfront against Gosport.

Looking at the low crowds (2003 - 2006) this corresponds with the period when Wembley was being vandalised and the final held at Villa Park. The big 2007 Stevenage v Kiddy crowd was the first year of the new Wembley so presumably a lot of casuals went for a look. This was the same year at Truro made the Vase Final where there was also an abnormally big crowd of 36,232.

Stevenage v Kidderminster was the first FA Trophy Final at the New Wembley. The 2000 final was Kingstonian v Kettering, which I attended, at the Old Wembley, the next six took place at Villa Park or Upton Park.
Edit - Tim beat me to it, the swine. I'll leave my post here anyway.
