Dover - the build up
To kick things off, a post from a Rovers fan on the Dover forum...
Yes they beat us at a canter and we played a full strength side as well.looked a decent side on the day with a bit of pace going forwards as well.Bath team and fans are really really up for this so expect them to be up and at it from the start, you certainly should be them but any hint of complacency on your part and you will be punished imo.Good luck.

Hell, on their forum they have a score prediction, quite a few of them are prediciting 4/5 goal wins against us, about 3 have gone for a 2 -1 win for them. They are either vastly overconfident or we are about to get smashed (obviously hope it is the first one, if they are cocky we stand a damn good chance).

Well I shall be in my usual place by the tunnel to offer encouragement to our players!

Re: Dover - the build up
Hey, Bath fans.
Certainly not cocky, just confident in ourselves at the moment. We're the highest ranked team left in the competition, top of the Conference form table over the last 20 games and playing a lower division side at home, so it's not out of the ordinary to predict us to win. That said, I wouldn't take the Prediction thread seriously: some people predict us to win on there literally every week.
We know you're the form team in the division too, but you struggle to score away from home, right?
The game won't be segregated, no.

It's 2 months since we last failed to score away from home.

I was just going by the fact that you've only scored 12 goals in 12 away games, joint-second worst record in the league.

We are not a free scoring team that's not the way we play. 1-0 will do us.

Yes, we're hopeless. The bald bloke up front can barely break into a trot...

3 goals at Wealdstone by half time and 2 away with no reply at Rovers.
Dover are hot favourites and we are the clear underdogs.
I fancy our chances because they expect to beat us!

Having seen Wales going into a match last night as favourites, predicted to win comfortably and all the attendant intro music, fireworks and flames hubris, I am glad to see us going in as underdogs
