City v. Wsm
Stearn and Watkins on bench. Mc Cootie starts.

Rather shapeless first half, neither team really hitting their stride. Weston probably had slightly the better of it so far, City perhaps fortunate not to be behind.

Re: City v. Wsm
Shot from distance draws a save from the keeper. From the resulting corner, taken by Stearn, near post flick on from Pratt onto the head of McCootie to make it 1-0.

Stearn's shot from the edge of the box is blocked, but from the rebound McCootie hammers it home with a head high overhead kick to make it 2-0.

Very positive after BW. We now have a positive goal difference and another clean sheet, all witnessed by an encouraging gate. Up the City!

Fair play to McCootie for taking his chances. Another forward line, another victory. Good.

First half was a cure for insomnia. Better, much better second half.

Good crowd too with WsM only bringing 20-30 odd. Second goal was amazing.

Re: City v. Wsm
Fantastic game. I thought Weston were much more comfortable on the ball and in control for large spells of the game, and didn't deserve to necessarily lose 3-0. Quite a few scares at the back for us, Keary looked much more assured than Walsh to me. Fair play to Coots following all the stick he's had recently, he seemed much more energetic than other recent performances, hopefully will take some pressure off Pratt....Loved his step-overs and junk past defender just before he was subbed! I've been a critic of Stearn in the past, but I have to put my hands up and say he really has been the difference for us based on his last few appearances, surely he's got to start v Maidenhead now? Let's keep this (2 match) run going!

Good win and improved second half. Agree 3-0 flattered us, I do not like Weston but they had some good young players and tried to play. First goal was the scrappy type that we usually concede so nice to see one go the other way.
McCootie looks a six yard box player to me, if he puts the ball in the net job done.

Yes good second half after a poor first, changed team took a while to settle. Wonk it easily without playing that well.
Good to see over 700 there and Andy came through with the beer. A few more wins and the playoffs are a real possibility with that Wembley run.

Had it been one of the Vanarama Picture of the Month games I'd have tried to get a picture of it.

The chances are that Eric would have chewed up your camera as soon as it was shoved in his face!
