bars in the ground
have too say the 2 bars in the ground are amazing. there always busy and at 4 quid a drink club must make loads. its heavenly not having to rush to randalls at half time and neck a pint in 5 minutes. can also enjoy ale during the game. well done city board for sorting this excellent idea out.

Definitely Paul.
There have been some grumbles on here that it lead to some people being too busy having a drink to focus on the football too much, but to each their own I say. Runninng a club is getting continually more expensive, so we need to find new ways to increase revenue to keep up. And people are obviously voting with their feet by using them, so they're a popular addition. Randalls always felt a bit of a trek from the Popular side for anyone who wannted a drink at half-time. I'm all for whatever makes the matchday experience more appealing for people. And if having a few beers whilst on the terraces is important to them, then so be it. It's not like it's lead to loads of drunkeness.

Who cares if their not watching the football match. They've paid 15 quid to get in and probably spending 12 quid (3 pints) on beer. That's 27 quid a person. Maybe a programme and food too. Can't see the harm in that. You can still watch the match in the que as well so don't miss the game. I love it personally. Club done excellent to increase revenue.

Will drinking inside the ground be allowed when Yeovil and Torquay visit?

I don't think the yeovil fans should be allowed food or drink or cover.

Nice to see the spirit of friendly rivalry still extant in our fans at least, despite not playing them for years.
