Update: 1000BC fan initiative to drive attendances
The 1000BC team met last week and has set priorities for the next 2-3 months. A full update can be viewed here:
http://www.bigbathcitybid.org.uk/1000bc.html
We will keep this regularly updated, and we welcome any further ideas or offers of help, thanks.

Yes some great stuff.
good to see the video content revived plus a mix of social media and good old fashioned posters!

Thanks both - we'll take it slow and steady at first and get the basics right, then look to push on. Stay tuned!

Ground Share
As someone who has just moved to the Bath area and a supporter of FC United could you tell me why it is not possible to share the Rugby ground in the city
The team play some of there games on a Friday or Sunday so this would not be a problem
The much needed improvements to the football ground would not be needed as this could be sold as some members of the board have suggested in the past
Is this to radical
Perhaps you could pick up some local support from bath people if you are in the city centre
Just an idea
I wait for the comments

We have been told that Bath Rugby see no benefit in sharing

Thanks for your comment Manc Exile and nice to hear from an FC United supporter. The idea of a ground share has floated around for a while and it would be interesting to see the reaction if a serious proposal ever came forward. As it stands it's well beyond the remit of our current initiative though!

Re: Update: 1000BC fan initiative to drive attendances
Greetings, Manc Exile. Obviously what your club is a great example of what can be done with community ownership so thanks for your interest and it would be great to see you down Twerton Park.
It's true that Bath Rugby don't seem presently enamoured with a groundshare but they don't actually own the ground. Long story, to be honest, but, fair to say, the main aim is to stay at Twerton for many and if you come down, you will see why.

Very interesting comments
Am getting up to date with the history. Of your club not to impressed with the Tony Book connection being an ex red but water under the bridge
Came to watch the under 18 last Saturday really quite impressed
Will make my debut on the 9th looking forward to it
Make some noise

Welcome Manc Exile. Come and join the 'singers' on the side, under the cover, at whichever end we are supposed to be attacking! I say 'singers', but recently we haven't had much to sing about......don't mention the Southern League though.

Just don't sit in the blue seats in the main stand... we bought them off Maine Road in 2004

An article about 1000BC will be in the Truro programme - many thanks to Oliver for already forwarding it over, far better at working to deadlines than me at the moment (face plants Psychology book).
