Delivering posters (1000BC)
Ok let's get started on this community ownership thing, shall we?
One of the easiest and most flexible ways to get involved in helping Bath City is to deliver posters and flyers to local shops and pubs. It's good exercise and you get to go into shops and pubs you wouldn't normally go into.
If you are willing to help, we will make it easy by sending posters and flyers to you in the post.
The Society has agreed to fund a poster & flyer run for more or less every two matches this season (thanks to Minuteman for a very good discount). The club will also be able to print extra if needed.
We have already developed delivery routes for the city centre, Twerton, Upper Bristol Road / Chelsea Road and Oldfield Park. Bob Chester tends to cover the Lower Bristol Road businesses and Mr Brush has Larkhall covered, I believe. (There may be others I don't know about!!)
We don't currently have any delivery routes for Whiteway, Combe Down / Foxhill, Bear Flat, Lansdown, surrounding villages etc etc. We also have no system for getting posters or flyers into schools, colleges, universities or student accommodation. If you can help us with that, let us know.
We're looking for a pool of people to occasionally either deliver along the existing routes or just put up posters where they live, if it's not already covered.
No commitment - you'll get an email every time a new run is ready and you can tell us then if you have the time. The core routes will always be covered. Even if there are only 2-3 places to put up posters where you are, that's fine.
To sign up please email bathcitysocietycommittee@gmail.com - thanks.
