It did seem to be a game where we needed to make best use of the bench. The only sub we made weakened the team.
It was also a game that showed we could do with an option on the striker front. I'm not a big fan of playing wingers on the wrong side (as my previous posts allude) as they are crossing with their weaker foot if they go on the outside. So crosses are less likely to reach their intended target. Cooke.
But as Jim Barron says the team shape was super. If they can do that throughout the rest of the season then they will win more than they lose.
