Segregation at Weymouth
Weymouth are segregating Monday's match - away stand tickets on their website and a clear message that the game is segregated.

Bloody atrocious - I can only think that has been caused by the antics of that idiot we took with us the last time we visited them - but I have not seen him at home yet alone away games for ages.

Those who dream of promotion should prepare for that nonsense every game next season. And assuming we're still in NLS, for the visits of Yeovil and Torquay...

It would be great to have with City, Yeovile, Taunton, Chippenham and Torquay as companions next season. Could also have WSM.

Great for crowds but plenty of competition for players.

We'll be in a fight at Weymouth I guess. I am going and if we don't put in some effort there I think I'll leave it at that for the season.

Re: Segregation at Weymouth
The completely unnecessary and over the top segregation, including 2 very bored police officers looking after the away end, was scrapped before half time. A very unpleasant experience getting into the ground today.

Re: Segregation at Weymouth
Not nearly as an unpleasant experience as watching a lamentable performance. Two games over the weekend. One shot on target on Friday. We didn’t even achieve that today. One scuffed ‘shot’ from Tom Smith today. Supporters obviously know nothing about what happens behind the scenes. How the players train. Who is fit or not. I was baffled today in a game that was going nowhere and a team that appeared to have nothing (play off/relegation) to play for, how the subs, who were unused, could have been deployed and make that performance any worse than it was. As supporters we can but support, but in recent times what’s been provided as a product is getting unsupportable. The end of the season can’t come quick enough.

Not sure what was 'unpleasant' about segregation. I found the gate and bar staff perfectly pleasant. Granted it was all completely unnecessary.
Best I can say about the game was the pitch was good.
City's performance was the worst I've seen for years. I don't feel inclined to spend any more on this season.

I am baffled by City's performance against Weymouth. We looked like a team in dire need of some coaching. They don't look good enough to compete in the Southern League.

Re: Segregation at Weymouth
A slight deviation on this thread, Tom Smith received a straight red whilst playing against Frome Town in the SPC on 21st March, this
I assumed results in an automatic three match ban. He has since appeared in all three matches we have played since that game, so
I checked on the Somerset FA website under suspensions and it lists under Bath City;
Name Club Name League Name Suspension Suspension Type From
Thomas Smith Bath City FC 3 matches All 28/03/2023
Am I missing something here? anyone??

Think I read it only applies to Somerset Cup games bizarrely.

Thanks "Luton Roman", I too find that rather odd.

Re: Segregation at Weymouth
I decided not to go. After all the poor home performances this season I have not been enthused to travel.
You know it is a poor performance when Mark Stillman is making excuses before half time. The idea that the players are physically shot doesn't wash frankly.
