Dave Singleton
Just saw a post on Facebook from Dave Singleton's son Josh that sadly Singy passed away yesterday. One of the '400' club and scored just short of 100 goals in his 12 years with City. A very versatile player who was also a great character on and off the field. RIP Dave

Re: Dave Singleton
Very sad news. I’d heard recently that he was ill. Came over as a great character who gave wonderful service to the Club. Hopefully there will be the opportunity for supporters to show their appreciation and respects at the Slough match.
RIP Singy

Re: Dave Singleton
Saw post from Jerry earlier that there will be a tribute to him at the Weymouth game when his son will be present.

Re: Dave Singleton
He was just before my time so my only opportunities to see him play were on video. Well remember watching back his equaliser against Wycombe and seeing what it meant to him.
I expect we will give it a mention tomorrow but as Les says the Weymouth game will be the tribute as he played for both. I believe a lot of the former players will come back.
RIP.

One of my earliest player memories. What a player. Him and Keith Brown in midfield I remember. RIP Singy.
