Dave Pratt - 50 goals
Unfortunately a bit overshadowed by the late equaliser but Dave Pratt became the 36th City player to reach the 50 goal mark for the club this afternoon.
And of those 36 players he is 20th in scoring rate with a goal every 2.6 games.

Well done Dave Pratt. In all my near 50 years of watching just about the complete forward we've had. Pace, heading, work rate, scoring ratio. He's hard to beat.

Just think where he'd be in the rankings without his current lean spell. At least it suggests that the drought is temporary and that at some point normal service will resume. He's been very consistent in his performances over a very long period and not many players can claim that. It would also be good to know how he compares in terms of the number of assists against the 36. I imagine favourably.

Interesting stats, yuffie. I love stats as much as the next man but realise that with football being as capricious as it is they can mean nothing. However, stats are great.

Re: Dave Pratt - 50 goals
A harder working centre forward would be difficult to find and the stats show he is up there with the best as far as goals per game ratio.
I always thought Lee Phillips worked hard up front when he played for us a few seasons ago in the Conference and going back many years one of my all time favourite Bath City centre forwards, Brian Owen, always worked his socks off but Pratty really does go the extra mile....quite literally!

He has certainly been one of our best bald strikers, along with Partridge and Fleming!

Ha, no. Genuinely meant. I just mean that I look up and work out similar stats like that and realise that they don't really have much to do with future prediction. I still love them though.
