Marvin Morgan
Marvin Morgan has sadly passed away aged 38.
News broke about it earlier. No idea what happened, he’s prolific on the socials and was still tweeting last night.
He made 65 appearances for us between 2016-17 and scored 13 goals.
I interviewed him nearly two years ago about his clothing range and the work he was doing for Grenfell Towers charities. I spoke to him a few times - he was always bubbly, enthusiastic and cheery.
RIP Marvin.

That's so sad. Remember him scoring at St.Albans in a terrific 4-1 win there. Another reminder life is short. RIP Marvin.

Dreadful news. Taken far too early. I hope we get the chance to pay our respects to Marvin on Saturday.

It’s bang on. He didn’t just talk the talk - he strove to make a difference. I remember asking him about the work he did following Grenfell and he seemed a bit embarrassed, as if it was obvious people should do something, difference being he actually did.
What’s also noticeable is the messages from some of our former players who wouldn’t have played alongside him for long like Stuart Fleetwood, Manny Monthe and Miles Welch-Hayes. All clearly devastated and demonstrates how someone made such a good impression in a short space of time.

Re: Marvin Morgan
Lovely tribute to Marvin on the Wealdstone website - he played for the Stones early in his career…
