Re: Marvin Morgan...
Huh. More bad timing. Just when on top of his game and a real presence on and off the pitch. Could understand it pre-season given his Watford location, but now? Clearly didn't want to be cup tied ! Jones to follow?
And not on contract. How many more?

He's just Tweeted that it's Hampton & Richmond.

Re: Marvin Morgan...
They've missed three out of six penalties this season so he will feel at home.
Good luck to him. Strange timing, whether Gary's departure has played a part, I don't know. The travelling might have just eventually taken its toll.

Re: Marvin Morgan...
I did wonder if he might have signed for Hemel and was going to turn up against us in the cup on Saturday week!
I got the impression he was here because of Gary, and once he had left I think a parting of the ways was inevitable.

Re: Marvin Morgan...
I believe that's the case LB. And the travelling must have been a factor. We were told by Paul Williams that he had been totally honest with the club and that the rest of the squad are settled. Good luck, Marv - you won most of us over in the end!

Wonder if there will be WILD rumours that he REFUSED to play under Jim Rollo?

Re: Marvin Morgan...
A lot of City fans were surprised that he stayed on for this season, especially as his performance at the end of last season was not top rate. But this season he really has been Marvellous Marvin, and we shall miss him. Best of luck to him. What crowd reaction will he get when we play Hampton at home on 3 Feb?

Re: Marvin Morgan...
Understandable with him living in Watford.
Facebook:
Rob Mould - So where has Marvin gone and do we get any money? He was as lazy as me last year but has been the best player so far this season. Really strange it wasn't announced where he had gone, like we wouldn't find out?!
Adam Bidgood - Hampton and Richmond
Jonathan Blain - We won't be getting any money. He's gone after a 7 day approach which means he was on non contract terms. Means we just transfer his registration to H&R but we're not due any money.

Re: Marvin Morgan...
Presumably if he has signed a contract with them he will revert to the Marvin of last season.
This is going to be a big miss for us. But hopefully Jarvis and Lucas will continue the improvement that appears to correspond to their fitness levels.

Re: Marvin Morgan...
For gawd's sake only sign him on a game-by-game contract, Jerry.
