This compo’s organising committee will meet and decide how this will affect things. Watch this space....

Reading tonights match programme, it appears that the 3rd Round of the Trophy is now on Tuesday 22nd December not the 19th. Not sure why the F A wanted to fit the first three rounds into December when the season goes on until May.

No it's a mistake in the programme. Bob tried to get it changed but it was too late.

Right, pay attention everyone!
The draw for the round we enter takes place tomorrow. It will include all clubs at our level (not the one above) plus those who have won through the earlier rounds, the latest of which takes place tonight (a few matches were held on Saturday or tomorrow).

Tomorrow’s draw will be for the 2nd AND 3rd rounds as they’re being played in the same week. So your prediction should include TWO clubs in the correct order...eg 2nd round - Chipp, 3rd round - Hungerford. I don’t want any whinging from the likes of Beau Nash if that was the actual outcome but he predicted Hungerford...Chipp

You can make your predictions from now and are welcome to include teams from the 1st rounds. But if it’s before they play please name both and the winner will apply eg North Leigh/Frome.

Is that clear?

Do we know how the draw(s) are being split? Is it simply North/South in which case where is the split as Gloucester etc could be in either - or  because of the Government rulings on limiting travelwherever possible  will the FA be sensible and have more localised groupings. Particularly in respect of the midweek implications.

I suspect I can answer my own last question!

Did they increase the number of teams that could enter? They still had the usual three qualifying rounds but added two to the competition 'proper'. Trying to contain my excitement for the publication of the draws!

It would be unfair if those who don't enter a prediction score better than those who run up negative scores.
So if at least one predictor gets a negative score, any no entries will be given one point less than the lowest score (rather than 0). This ruling was introduced during last season's compo and applies as 3 day week's prediction of Truro earnt -12 points.  
I'm afraid this will also apply to the 3rd round draw, the table for which I'll post once we know the winners of Swindon and Carshalton. At least no one predicted Truro...
