Scott Wilson scored twice for Macclesfield at Notts County to take them off the bottom of League 2 (and only 3 points behind Yeovil!).

Re: Ex Romans' Thread
Tariq Ossai made his debut for Chipp against us today...he played a couple of games for us in pre season (v Keynsham and Bristol City U23’s from memory)...Collier said he had just looked at some videos and read report from Tariq’s agent before signing him for the season (non-contract terms admittedly).....I know we’re short of players at the moment, but I would be mortified if Jerry came out and said something like that!

I thought he was one of Chippenham's better players today (damning with faint praise admittedly).
(And I shook hands with George Rigg).

My son and I went and saw the “Y” yesterday (long story - son was there with his youth team....he wore his City Shirt at the game and did a quiet fist pump when Bury scored!)
Steve Phillips was there as goalkeeper coach.
He didn’t get in a ruck with the away fans (as he seemed to do every time he played for us!)

Not an ex Roman but I see Nathan Ashmore now plays for Fleetwood. Thank goodness for that. I believe we have never scored against him. I hope he keeps out of our way.

Bumped into Peter Rogers yesterday - he's looking well and asked after City's progress this season and to be remembered to Jimmer!

He plays for Ebbsfleet. Signed about 3 years ago. He's still there. Only kept one clean sheet against us in his last 5 games v City.

There's not much football played in Iceland or Sweden in January...
They probably wanted to have an early look at Qatar before returning in 2022.

I see he replied to club’s tweet.....
“Always a Roman thanks guys”.
He always showed a bit of class, nice to see when players remember the role Clubs like us play in their development.
