Would expect to see (Lemonheigh-)Evans feature too as part of the loan deal.

Re: Jack Compton
On a pretty depressing day against Gloucester City yesterday, one ray of light was Jack Compton, who scored a wonderful free kick and hit the post with another one before that and generally showed his top flight pedigree, albeit in fits and starts.
He has a great left foot and can deliver a brilliant cross but we just didn't have the firepower to take advantage. He reminds me a bit of Mark McKeever a few years ago, but unfortunately we do not have a Chris Holland any longer to finish off the cross with a bullet header.
Cant say his work rate is the best but he certainly brings some quality to the team......I just hope he doesn't allow himself to become a 'luxury player' who doesn't start much and then eventually just drifts away.
Time will tell I suppose!

Re: Jack Compton
He is very disappointing without the ball so he really has to do something special with it when he has it. If he scores or provides an assist then he has done his job. Unfortunately with our strike options it is likely to require the former.

His pass on Saturday for Marvin's goal was sublime.
