Easter Monday - city centre meetup
The plan for Monday is to meet in Flan O'Briens, who are big supporters of the club, at around 12.30pm.
From there we will probably head to the Bath Brew House at around 1.30/1.45 before heading to Twerton.
Look forward to seeing everyone on Monday! Up the City!

Are you just doing the one pub or a crawl, Ashley?

Open to ideas - pretty informal so the thought is to meet somewhere at a set time and just go from there!

Nice one Ashley - I'd point out that the Bath Brew House is relatively family friendly and is positioned right next to the bus stop to Twerton. Also Flan O Briens has been very supportive of the club and is bang in the city centre.
I'll definitely be there with my stripes on

I'd agree with Flan's. There is also the Star, The Raven, The Belvoir Castle as well as traditional ones like the Oak (which may not be open Bank Holiday Monday, I will check), The Charmbury, the Golden Fleece. What is that one near Pulteney bridge that did a lot for the Bid, Oliver? Is it the Pulteny itself? If we quickly get a rough route together, I am happy to do a Facebook event? We could do a midday meet-up

That's quite a list, hope you're drinking halves
Midday or 1pm sounds good to me. Just need to leave enough time to get to the ground.

I was going to say, by the time you turn up it'll be a repeat of the Yuffie at Cambridge City episode...

Disclaimer: 1000BC encourages responsible drinking, and pubs do serve soft drinks.
Getting more people out in the city centre wearing the stripes on a matchday is free advertising, hopefully this will be well supported.

Re: Easter Monday - city centre meetup
How about meeting at the Pulteny Arms (is that it's name, Oliver?) at midday, then onto Flans, then the Bath Brewhouse and the the Belvoir Castle. After that all the pubs are normal matchday boozer so we can go straight onto Twerton or any of those.

I have encouraged another friend to join us. I think he was more attracted by the pre-match!

There are photos you took from that day, that I am in, that I don't even remember happening. That cider bar was lethal!

Ye Olde Cider Bar, East Street, Newton Abbot. Now that was a great session! Packed full of city supporters but still more different ciders than supporters. Now, just remind me, we won didn't we........just.Jon_BOA wrote:stillmanjunior wrote: Or Palms and Co at Buckland.

Well, I was astonished when the Whitehawk game was off.
Hopefully, a touch of damp in the air will put off the fair weather players of WSM

What time is everyone likely to stay in Flann's until ? Have a few things to do first before I can get down there
