Forget the Easter Monday, what about Good Friday? Our website shows 3pm, the ever reliable Conference website has it listed as 7:45pm (as it is a Friday, I assume they've gone for it's midweek therefore it is an evening kick off, without considering the bank holiday).

1050 radstock
1100 sizzler
1115 twerton
1130 Filos

Massive game Maidenhead now, and a nice ground to go to. Hoping for an Oxford-esque turn out and lots of volume.

Let's make some noise. A good compromise location for exiles and non-exiles to make the game in numbers.

Coming back to Easter Monday, will Sekani be able to play against City? Seems odd to let him go to help out a club that City could be fighting against to avoid relegation (or in Weston's case the AGM Cup).

It is a trick... I reckon he'll rifle the ball through the back of Weston's net on first attack.

He was not on a contract, so I don't think that there can be any restriction on him playing against us

Surely a gentleman's agreement at least?

I don't think so, and after all, Weston have signed him and want to play him to try and keep themselves up. Our favourite 'keeper played for Gosport one week, signed for Gravesend during the following week and then played for his new side against his old side 3 days later (as well as against us, of course, the following Saturday).

Adelsbury didn't play against us on Tuesday (would probably have improved our prospects of winning if he had) - is he still at Truro, as their woeful website has no mention of him? Or was there a gentleman's agreement in place?

He was named amongst the subs.

Not on the teamsheet I had.

And yes, Truro's website is pathetically awful.

Not sure who the gentlemen are!
Adelsbury was on a contract, and part of the new agreement with Truro was that he would not play against us. This has happened with other players, but I can't think who. Sekani was not on a contract, so was basically free to leave at any time. It is good to know that he informed our club that he had been approached by Weston, before he went ahead with his signing for them. He is a gentleman.

I don't know the protocol for these things, but wouldn't Weston need to go through us first as he's our player, or are they free to "tap up" anyone not on a contract?

He will be missed, on and off the pitch, and personally I felt he still could have done a job for us.

Hope he does well at Weston. Just had a chuckle at the club history they sent for the programme - includes a mention of a 4-1 win against us at the back end of last season. Glad that such an evening has warranted a mention amongst their achievements. And the minor error that it was actually 4-2 (we were 2-1 up I believe). Ironic seeing as we actually did win 4-1 there a couple of seasons ago. If such a thing is ever mentioned in our club history I'd be ashamed, I'd almost rather we included a paragraph about winning a Somerset Premier Cup.
