Re: Chelmsford
Luxury to have keeper on bench at this level, this happens once every couple of seasons, we can see it out.

Chronicle twitter corrects crowd figure to 1374 which is brilliant.

For me MOM was Adelsbury. He was terrific. It showed what a job he hade done when he had to go in goal because Burnell and Connolly both came on and still Chelmsford had lots of space in midfield. Hats off to the lad.

Yes, a fantastic day with everyone pulling together off the pitch and a real team performance on it! The school kids in the family stand loved it and special thanks to the 3 mascots for helping to make their afternoon so memorable. And as peteboa will seek my view on his performance, I thought Stearn did really well. Yes a great shot for his goal, but the best for me was his cross on the turn which left the keeper completely foxed. Thought it was a mistake to sub him but Bowman was excellent in his short cameo.

Be good to know what the revenue was compared to the average (mean median or mode). Hopefully really good!

Re: Chelmsford
My guests enjoyed the whole experience - Charlies, crowd banter, the Legion and their take on John Denver. Obviously good that we won 4-1.
Coggins the ref baffled us as usual. Chelmo were poor but hey, our back four with Walshy imperious in the middle, provide a stiff test for any opposition.
Pratt an absolute hero and finished off with a great goal. I can't speak highly enough of him.

Other results look fairly kind to us too.

Re: Chelmsford
A cracking day - marred slightly by Mellor getting sent off whilst the Chelmsford player who clearly pushed his arm into his face only got a yellow.
Two different attendances were announced at the game -1,174 in the first half, followed by 1,374 at the end. Whichever one it was is a great turnout (and evidence that I'm officially rubbish at guessing crowds, as I thought it was aboiut 800 ).
Great to see the entire club pulling together. Everyone involved in making today a success should take a bow - particularly Bob Chester for his leadership role, and Mark Tanner for the social media and leafletting work.

It was the latter - seconds after I announced it Andy phoned to say they'd forgotten to include the kids in the stand.
