City 1-1 Welling
After a first half when many in a decent sized crowd for a cold evening must have wished they’d watched the World Cup instead the second was much better. I thought that was Ebanks’ best performance so far and he deserved his goal but I thought Welling looked capable of an equaliser and what a strike it was.
Hopefully Joe Raynes isn’t facing another long spell out following his injury.
Well done to their fans for what must have been a difficult journey and their directors for such a generous donation to the Alex Fletcher fund.

Thank you to everyone that tuned in, apologies for the difficulties in identifying the Bath players, the numbers on their backs are literally impossible to see from a distance
What looks nice in bright sunshine during pre-season and the first month of fixtures is not such a bright idea (awful pun intended) under lights. Please City, get this sorted for next season - I know the fashionistas don't like patches on the backs of the shirts, but red numbers on stripes is hopeless! I still have difficulty, for example, in identifying Spokes, Hayfield and Dyer as they look so similar from distance. And yes, I wear glasses...

Alleluia!!!
I thought we had knocked this on the head when that kit was tried a couple of years ago.
Kit designers need to get their act together.

I’m guessing that the colour of the numbers is down to the Club.

Red numbers are fine. The issue is the material, horrible plastic iron on stuff that reflects all light. That and they've already faded to a near pink tone. Peel them off and replace them with proper felt numbers.
