Big Bath City Bid Quiz!
Big Bath City Bid are holding a quiz in Charlie’s on Thursday 23 July.
Doors open at 7.30 for an 8 pm start.
Teams of up to 5 can enter and the cost is £2 per player.
Some great prizes are up for grabs and there will also be a raffle.
To help with the organisation, I would appreciate it if you could let me know in advance at mcpowell@sky.com if you are entering a team.
Please encourage friends, colleagues and family to take part. It would be great if we could attract some teams from companies, sports clubs, pubs etc

Re: Big Bath City Bid Quiz!
I understand the quizmaster will be Scott who hosts regular quizzes at the Royal Oak and Velo Lounge. Always a good one at the Oak when I've been. Glad the date moved from that originally proposed as I can now make it.

Will be good to see you there! Everyone, please let me know if you're interested in entering a team. For it to be successful we need to build up some momentum in advance. There should be a mention in this week's Chronicle and emails have been sent out to SC and Society members.

Re: Big Bath City Bid Quiz!
Entries are coming in now, with the quiz just over a week away. At just £2 a head, it's an excellent way to show support for the Bid, especially for those who can't afford the cost of a share. Don't worry if you can't make up a team - come along anyway as there are bound to be spaces in some teams.

Re: Big Bath City Bid Quiz!
The major prize has been donated by Bath Building Society, who will also have a team at the Quiz Night. Tiffany Hardie-Albutt, PR and Communications Manager at Bath Building Society added, “We are delighted to be able to support the Quiz Night for the Big Bid with a prize for the raffle - a hot air balloon ride for 2 people. The Society is always keen to support the local community wherever possible and we hope the Bid is successful in getting the Club it deserves for the Bath community.”

Re: Big Bath City Bid Quiz!
A big thank you to everyone who supported the quiz last night either by taking part or by donating prizes.
Many thanks to Scott for some great questions on a wide variety of subjects. For those who couldn't make it, here's one to ponder..
Which two football teams always play in a 2-5-3 formation?

Rich Stockley and friends. I'm having problems uploading a photo of them on their lap of honour but I know someone who will do it...

I was going to guess Farnborough at Twerton and their place last season.
