Surprised about the focus on here about his attitude / realtionship(s) with other players. Is it my imagination but flair players (indeed people) can oftenbe "high maintenance". You tolerate it when the benefits are apparent. What bothers me far more is that I don't see anyone else in the squad whoI think could turn a gameor grab a game by the scruff of its neck - from the bench or otherwise. PS.I watched him at atthe end of the Sutton game and said at the time he was saying goodbye.

It's not going to be easy to find a better replacement, so whatever the relationship with others the club survived it for 2 seasons and we had someone with great ability who could change the game. I don't say his performances were always great, but it didn't always come off for Dave Pratt either and I expect we'd all be beside ourselves to lose him.
Good luck Ross; you'll be a great loss.

To be honest I am relieved he has gone elsewhere. I have been embarrassed for him every time he has come on with five minutes remaining. This only ever seemed reasonable in the context of being more than in the game where he came on only for the last kick of the game - a free kick which he took, can't remember the opposition. Surely a record for any player in the world.

I'm surprised he wasn't even more angry. I'd have been absolutely livid.

I can't find any mention of him either on Sutton's official website or their forum.  Nothing in the Sutton Guardian, though there is a quote from their manager -“I will put my neck on the line and say it will be a very exciting season for us next year.”
