Conference North v Conference South
As part of my ongoing therapy for the FA Trophy SF defeat I was wondering if there was any way of establishing which was the stronger of the 2 leagues, Conference North or South? Whilst I understand that the boundary changes each year, the best comparative measure I could think of is to track the relative performance of the teams getting promoted out of the respective leagues each season. I did consider just counting the number of northern and southern teams but that doesn't work as some (most?) of those would be relegated out of League 2.
I wonder if someone with far more time on their hands than me has or could track this?

Re: Conference North v Conference South
I think with how similar ours and Ferriby's records are and the fact it went to penalties shows there isn't a great deal between the leagues.
Possibly a different style of play, but not much difference in overall standard.
