London Exiles for Ferriby???

Any London exiles heading up to the dizzy heights of Ferriby next week?

Any ideas, what train you will get?

OK, it looks like you can get a return from London for £103 and the last train back is at 18.37

The other choice is using Mega Train at 9 am from St Pancras to either Doncaster or Hull for a bargain £13!!!!

The only trouble is there is no train back on the same day so it could mean a fun night out in Hull!

Glad you made it home from stratford international after Dover, we wondered if you might still be in France! Sounds good will book on the mega train, see u at St Pancras just before 9 then? I will tell the other well oiled exiles

fancied this one but at 260 euro + petrol going to have to give it a miss....

I'll be in Hull from about 11am on Saturday.

My group toying with the idea of the Sloop in Barton on Humber.

Otherwise its the Cumberland......no real choice of pubs locally.

Could be quite a challenging walk to the ground from Barton on Humber.

a good 5 mins walk over a little bridge...

Think will be big crowd for small ground so plan to get to Ferriby and drink there to avoid traffic delays.

Surely there would be a ferry between North Ferriby and South Ferriby????

A short stretch of the legs. I fear Gerry is right. Get there, park up, fight for a warm pint of beer and get to the ground early!

The Cap from November 1960 has unfortunately long since disappeared. As has the scarf, which coincidentally was Kingswood Black and White with a small red band. Seem to recall City's Black and White pinstripe shirts had red numbers on them?? I do still have a rosette from that momentous day. Sad man.

Did the red numbers fade?
