City v. Dover, the replay
Here we go again, strap yourself in, its gonna be emotional.
City line up as per Saturday apart from Watkins for McCootie.

And Jake Reid in for Stefan Payne (and a change of keeper) for Dover.

And the ref Lee Swabey is a Football League one I think.

Re: City v. Dover, the replay
City dominated the first 35 minutes, and so close to being 3-0 up when Hemmings free kick hit the underside of the bar. Last ten minutes of the half was all Dover though.
Hemmings and Diallo outstanding so far, and encouraging to see Watkins full of running.

We win 2-1, down to 10 at the end with Diallo sent off again. Mike Yorke told me at Wealdstone we were going to Wembley, still on the way, dunno why no one listens to him.
Well done you City boyzzzzz

Brilliant Trophy run....3 Conf Premier scalps. Saw it through with 10 men. Well done, City.

Re: City v. Dover, the replay
That was a far more nerve-wracking second half than Saturday. City just weren't getting any possession, and Dover were coming forward in waves. When Stearn missed when one on one in injury time, it had the feeling of the moment that the game slipped away. However, elation when they finally got to the final whistle.

Wow - what a performance! The first half-hour couldn't have gone better if we'd written the script but the crossbar kept Dover in the game. They finished the first half strongly and took charge after the break with relentless pressure. I have to admit I thought our chance had gone when they pulled a goal back with over 20 minutes left but some heroic defending saw us through. Everyone worked their socks off but Phil Walsh was awesome - he led by example and won all the key headers. Great night for the City.

Kudos to the cardiac Romans! The second half seemed to last 3 hrs and I've aged 20 yrs. Nails are bitten down to the quick! On paper NFU look a good match-up for us but you never know in the Cup- that's what the other beaten Conf. Prem. teams were saying about us. COYR

Would it be tempting fate to buy train tickets down to London for 29th March while they are still cheap(ish)!?

Great stuff, but as Walshy would say the semis are not enough, we havent come on this rollercoaster to get off before the final stop.

Don't get too excited - I went past their ground once on the train going to Hull and it's a dump!

Great effort from the team and the management.
Sorry I couldn't be there but sounds like we worked our socks off second half and just held on. agonising listening to the radio commentary those last ten minutes.
What an achievement.
