Hacksaw will be pleased if it is Dover. He has a gig in Kent that day.

Hopefully there will be massive crowd trouble in the replay and the winners will have to play at a neutral venue.
Ideally somewhere near Manchester.

8th + 9th in table with almost identical records. While Woking would attract more fans to travel, Dover is one of my favourite trips. Always a good atmosphere there and we owe them one after last year's tame exit in the Trophy. And of course, Woking have a score to settle with us...

Dover are massively in form and we have a shocking record against them. Woking would be a decent atmosphere too and I would say they're more beatable as they've slipped a bit recently.
To be honest I'll be surprised if Dover don't win the replay.

So would I. In fact, Woking beat them 6-1 at the start of the season.

If its Dover need to get that Palace DVD to see their approach. Pace was key, of which we have buckets !

Another factor being that if it is Dover it means we'll have trips to Eastbourne, Whitehawk and Dover in the space of eight days...

Perhaps we could arrange all 3 for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday to avoid excess travellingstillmanjunior wrote:Another factor being that if it is Dover it means we'll have trips to Eastbourne, Whitehawk and Dover in the space of eight days...

we went to Dover and knocked them out of the FA cup 2 years ago. They were in Conf S and we in the Prem. Andy Gallinagh goal.

We beat Rovers and not many thought we'd do that, we beat Altrincham (out playing them) and not many thought that would happen. So what have we to fear.

Quite agree, Richard. Our best performances are always in games when we're not favourites. Remember, Thurrock, Shortwood and Poole! Dover + Woking forums already talking it up as ideal draw for them if...

Our form ain't bad. Lost only 2 from 12 now and both losses were 1-0. City are very much a team on the up. Whoever we get, they won't be taking us lightly.

Agreed, we do raise our game and look as good as anyone. Its the North Ferriby / FCUM games that cause us problems.

Benny, if I was to tell you that the Dover ground is just a 10 minute stroll through the delightful village of River to a great pub, would that tempt you?

Whoever you get by this stage it's going to be a tough game.
If it's Dover it'll be interesting if we use some of the prize money to pay for an overnight stay.
