Sorry Mark, too many quotes - It was a goal because the referee gave it, however, having watched over & over (sad I know), from the camera angle and from the referee's angle, it is impossible to tell, therefore he has to either consult his linesman or not give it. The ball was well in front of the goal as Jase got a touch on it, this deflected it downwards & towards the post and when it bounced, all of the ball was in front of the line, as it bounced up, all perspective is lost, making it look behind the line. Bad refereeing in my opinion, he had plenty of time to ask his assistant and reverse the decision or not but the only place he could be sure, was if he was stood on the goal line. He was in fact 12 yards away.
