Re: Saturday home fixtures
Another blank Saturday beckons on 7 December following our Trophy exit today. I suppose it’s far too late to rearrange Tuesday’s game v Maidstone who also lost. But if Truro (who lost at Torquay) agreed, it would surely make sense to both clubs if we went down there on 7/12 rather than a Tuesday evening in January.

Could we travel on the Waverley from Avonmouth?

Re: Saturday home fixtures
Any chance of us negotiating a home fixture for Saturday 7th December now?

Re: Saturday home fixtures
With all this rain, flooding and general disruption etc could tomorrow's match have to be postponed. Then the league might sanction a re-arrangement on Saturday 7th!

Re: Saturday home fixtures
I assumed that as there had been no announcement on rearranging the trip to Truro that they themselves were more interested in visiting Chippenham that day rather than a midweek trip in the New Year. But presumably all three clubs will be without a game instead. Seems mad after a reminder these past few days of the sort of weather that created havoc for some clubs, especially Truro and Taunton less than a year ago.

2 week break might be a useful reset time for the new/interim management team to get their heads around the playing squad and what can change.

I think you might have made the mistake of thinking that common sense would apply!

Unless someone is already lined up I’ll be very surprised if the new manager will be in place by that day.

Not a home fixture, but our trip to Worthing will go ahead on Saturday 1/2 (weather permitting) following their defeat to Gosport in the Trophy today.

Worthing 'did a City' - leading until the 94th minute and then lost on penalties!
I see that Eastbourne - who we play on 1st March the date of the following round - also lost.

A small consolation for our friend Kevin Anderson who wouldn't have fancied a midweek trek to Bath!
