Hampton game
Thought we did well after a very shaky start. HWR kept us in it.
Brilliant piece of skill from Sol to set up our goal.
Decent defensively and could have got a second.
Humphrey double barrel looks a tidy player. I could run faster than Alex Fisher though

Re: Hampton game
I agree. Considering it was our second game in 48 hours and the warm conditions, the team worked hard to secure the win even if Hampton will feel they’ve thrown three points away. I thought they were the best footballing side we’ve met so far but their strikers seemed on a different wavelength to the others and were constantly caught offside.
Special mention to our excellent keeper who really should have received MoM - some decisive saves, very steady on crosses and accurate distribution.
Perhaps I jinxed Wilson praying he’d stay fit - fingers crossed he’s able to start at Hemel.

Re: Hampton game
could have been 2 down after 20. was surprised they didnt score. after that was better for us. composure from scott. calm as anything. lots of delicious crosses put in the box begging to be tapped in. need someone too anticipate these delicious deliveries. happy with the 3 points. so nice having greenslade back. we been digging in all season and 7 points from 5 games is decent with the rigmarole of injuries and zac smith out for season. parselle what a skipper. also batten what a solid man. got 5 days now to possibly get another player or 2 back for hemel. fantastic attendance again with so many on holiday.

Fisher’s not the fastest but I’m pretty sure he’s carrying an injury and only came on because Scott couldn’t continue. Whole team giving it their all out there, and it’s good to see a decent crowd on a bank holiday. I do think we could make a bit more noise at home; we often seem to be more noisy at away games!
