Facebook Events.
Well done, whoever has started doing FB events for each individual match so that we can share them all around. So let's do it.

Re: Facebook Events.
The club is doing a great job of setting up fixture events for matches. However, when they send it to me, they have invited 45-50 people and I add another 45-50 people and, after that, I notice, there are only another 20 people added. Come on, people, if everyone out of the 150 people on here invite only 20 people, let alone 50 (allowing for overlaps), that will be 3000 ish people. It is non-league day next at home, let's do our bit. Even friends from outside of Bath may want to come down just for the day.

I'm afraid that one of the reasons many are attracted to the forum is because they are not on Facebook and this is a way that they can keep in touch...

Re: Facebook Events.
I appreciate that and have put the same message on the FB pages as well.

Re: Facebook Events.
Right. So you're not going to try to persuade me to submit to Facebook then?

I really don't think it matters one little bit how the club goes about advertising itself at the moment....Facebook, Twitter, Chronicle, Western Daily Press or whatever because if the Management team don't get to grips with this mini crisis on the pitch very soon, support will be down to around 300 fairly soon....

Good point but we have to carry on trying our best where we can. Unfortunately, we can't influence what is going on on the pitch.

Re: Facebook Events.
Silly question - how do I "share" it on my fb page? Can only see how to invite individuals.....

Re: Facebook Events.
You cut and paste the URL and put it into your status update. If you wait until the event itself shows, you can actually get rid of the URL so it looks a bit neater. I tend to share and invite friends as well so that they are then on the event invitation list.
