Muff manager gone
Strange timing - they’ve been on a decent run.

Former manager Mark Molesley resigned from Hayes and Yeading yesterday. Could be in the stand today.....

Re: Muff manager gone
I thought Jason Matthews did a pretty good job today. He changed the way they played to disrupt us when we were getting on top and his substitions worked for him.
I felt our substitutions weakened us. Especially dropping Smith deeper to accommodate Freer. He was nowhere near as effective then and we gave their midfield far too much space. And I haven't anything positive to say about the others.

For the first hour I thought Weymouth were one of the most inept teams we have faced but if you can’t kill off games when you’re on top you may live to regret it. Their equaliser was an excellent finish and we’d have lost had it not been for the miss of the season. To be fair to both teams, the conditions were not ideal but you couldn’t have had a bigger contrast to last Sunday’s thriller.

Got to agree with Comrade.
It is somewhat bizarre that attendances are higher but you need to travel to away games to see City performing at a play-off standard

I have a feeling the outside bars are contributing to increased attendance. There was a perpetual queue yesterday.
It seems to make for a better matchday experience for some people.

Agree with Comrade's comments.
We seemed to run out of steam second half and there were a couple of defensive slips that gifted possession in a dangerous way.
Didn't look like a near 2000 crowd to me - and certainly didn't sound like one either.

need to kill games off but every team says that when its 1 0 up then miss a few sitters then other teams equalises. bloody annoying though when it happens to our team. great day with stag party from portsmouth having a jolly good time. nice blokes who spent many a pound coin in the romans and the stripes. stag hit the bar quite quickily at half time. weymouths tactics were decent. cousin joe raynes scored against his cousin i the weymouth goal. i thought there equaliser vassell was at fault. he didnt track back and raynes was heavily out numbered. apparently weymouth miss of the century was offside but was dam hilarious at the time.

away teams love playing at TP. who wouldn't, so they raise there game. annoying for us as teams are 10% more up for it at TP than say the were at a tip like Hardenhuish. That said we played away dam well at Maidstone and Worthing. Just such a shame we threw away two 2 1 leads in last ten minutes at both games.Peter Newman wrote:Got to agree with Comrade.

absolutely. the que was huge for the bar at the bristol end. normally i go to this one as its a shorter que than popular side bar but this time was gigantic. good stuff and revenue for the club. well done to those who set the pitch side bars up.BenE wrote:I have a feeling the outside bars are contributing to increased attendance.
