Re: Salisbury out.....
Possibly the FA took into consideration who the new owners are.
Then again if they are not being allowed in any league then it doesn't really matter who the owners are. The club ceases to exist.

Re: Salisbury out.....
the whole saga has been a disgrace, with no one appearing to come out of it with any credit. the conference were right to protect the integrity of their league and the interests of their member clubs, but the southern division has been left a club light because they failed to kick out salisbury completely. i suppose the salisbury fans deserve sympathy but more should go to those of tonbridge.

An important question for me is what is the marginal profit/loss for one home and one away game lost from the schedule?

Or whether the teams will be compensated? To be honest we're reasonably fortunate, I don't think historically that those Bank Holiday Saturday games are known for big crowds. If it had been the Monday ones I would have been fuming.

Re: Salisbury out.....
I think the clubs will lose out financially by having one less home game. If Tonbridge had been reprieved in place of Salisbury and we had only got a crowd of 500 against them surely the gate receipts from that game would be more than the cost of travelling to Tonbridge?

Re: Salisbury out.....
The supporters club pays for team travel so it is a different budget. But the extra game would have enabled Paul Williams to cover the team wages for another week, given that the season is one week longer this year as well.
