Meet the SLO

Hi, I'll be in Charlie's tomorrow before the Slough game from about 6pm if anyone wants to chat informally in my role as SLO.

Come and say hello if there things you want raised or have ideas to improve our club. I would particularly appreciate any thoughts / contacts supporters might have on improving the state of the car park without spending hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Some of the floodlight bulbs need replacing. It is difficult to see the action in those parts of the pitch affected.

With the usual caveats on cost/money being tight etc., it's about time the gents toilets in the ground had a makeover. They're pretty unpleasant and with the influx of new fans they don't give a good impression.

I certainly agree about the toilets
I use (if I have to) the ones near the outside bar up in the corner and they are vile

The guttering that was stuck in the channel troughs many years back has failed
This means the piss is going under it and is not flushed away by the trickle flushing that happens every now and then
Sometimes the water does go under the gutter and then it will be disturbed and up comes the stink

I wonder if it's time to start a facilities fund, similar to the players fund, to help with ground upkeep.

Will there be prizes, or can I just have a name plaque for people to aim at?

I'll raise the idea of a facilities fund at the next board meeting on Monday thanks. Spoke to a few people tonight and will do another one when the weather's a bit warmer
