John Swatton
I heard the very sad news today that John had passed away earlier this month. He was a long time supporter going right back to the days of Charlie Fleming and up until lockdown was an ever present at matches.
He was also a proud member of the Society and SC and could always be relied on to attend members’ meetings.
He had been suffering with cancer for some time but when I last spoke to him during the summer he said he would buy a season ticket as usual even though he doubted he would be able to use it. That was typical of his devotion to the Club.
The funeral will be at the Top Chapel at Haycombe on December 7 at 3pm.
RIP John.

Re: John Swatton
Martin, that is such terrible news. As you say, John was a true City supporter through thick and thin.
He will be missed by all.
RIP John.
